Johnny: You’re trying to force me into a war, Trevor. What’s in it for you?
Trevor: John, this truce that you brokered with Sonny, it does nothing but give him more time to plan your murder.
Claudia: Sweet. Trevor’s worried about you.
Trevor: For god’s sake, john. The only way that you can stay alive is a pre-emptive strike. Kill Sonny or he is gonna kill you.
[Telephone rings]
Johnny: [Scoffs] Sonny could have killed me when he had the chance. Not that I enjoy being locked up, beaten, and starved, but if he wanted me dead, I’d already be that way. So your warning? Kinda pointless.
Claudia: Yeah.
Ian: Hello, gorgeous.
Claudia: Where are you?
Ian: I’m right where you want me.
Claudia: Any sign of our friend?
Ian: Corinthos should arrive within the hour.
Claudia: Call me when it’s done.
Ian: Will do.
Trevor: Don’t lose sight of the big picture. Unless you go after Sonny, he’s going to take it as a sign of weakness.
Claudia: I think Trevor’s got his own agenda. Smells like self preservation.
Trevor: Oh, Claudia, there is one person in this room with an agenda, and that is you.
Claudia: You are hot for my brother to kill Sonny before Sonny can kill you.
Johnny: Now that you own the Alcazar piers, you figure Sonny’s gonna try to take you out. Makes sense to me.
Claudia: That would be my plan.
Johnny: One way out, Trevor. Sell me the piers. I’ll be happy to relieve you of that responsibility.
Trevor: [Laughs] Unless you really want to talk business, talk is cheap. You know, you’d better have a plan. Because if you do nothing, you’re dead.
Claudia: John. Don’t worry. Sonny will be dead in an hour.
Claudia: No, John, it’s gonna look exactly like what it is — a third-party hit. And we’ll be mortified that such a thing could happen when well just declared peace. But we need airtight alibis. Something even Jason Morgan’s gonna have to buy.
Johnny: Ok, I’m gonna meet with Luke Spencer about the Haunted Star budget.
Claudia: I’m not sure that’s a great idea.
Johnny: Luke and Sonny are great friends. They’re old friends. He’s the perfect person for me to be sitting with when Sonny dies.
Claudia: Yeah, unless Luke figures out that you’re using him. This is risky, Johnny. Taking Sonny out is a huge risk. You need to keep your hands clean.
Claudia: Luke spencer is dangerous. He is smart, johnny, and he knows all the players.
Johnny: Ok, but he’s not psychic. There’s no way he’s gonna trace this hit back to me, especially since I don’t know any of the details.
Claudia: Well, just think of it this way: The less you know, the easier it is to have deniability.
Johnny: I don’t like you taking all the risk.
Claudia: I can handle it, John. You just need to watch your back with Luke Spencer. Ok? That’s all I’m saying. And I wish that, you know, you might think about finding a girlfriend who had a father you could intimidate.
Johnny: All I’ve done is make sure lulu knows where to find me if that’s what she decides she wants.
Claudia: Look at you. How could she resist?
Johnny: I won’t pursue her, but I won’t turn my back on her if she comes my way, and I won’t be intimidated by luke.
Claudia: Your call. I’m not going to argue with you over girls.
Johnny: Where are you going?
Claudia: To find my own alibi.
Claudia: Yes, I am.
Jerry: Oh, it’s so wonderful. I have been wanting to meet you. I have heard so much about you.
Claudia: This is risky.
Jerry: Yes, it is. Have you heard from Ian?
Claudia: He’s there. That’s why I’m here.
Jerry: He’ll get the job done tonight.
Claudia: I’d prefer to hear that from him and not be seen with you.
Jerry: Well, much like you, I am on my way to meet my alibi. It is so wonderful to meet you, really.
Claudia: Yes.
Jerry: Take care.
Claudia: Uh-huh.
Claudia: Um, I’m Claudia Zacchara. I want the penthouse.
Marty: Oh. I am so sorry, but we won’t be able to accommodate you.
Claudia: Excuse me? Do you know who I am?
Marty: You said you were Claudia Zacchara. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that the suite isn’t available to you at this time.
Claudia: Get the owner on the phone. Pick up the phone! I want to talk to the owner, now.
Claudia: Are you always this arbitrary about who you let into your pathetic excuse for a 4-star?
Carly: We cater to a certain class of clientele.
Claudia: You are obviously just so easily threatened. I am a paying customer.
Carly: I don’t want your money.
Claudia: You want a lawsuit? ‘Cause this has discrimination written all over it.
Carly: It’s private property. I can do whatever I want.
Claudia: Yeah, does your husband know that you are turning me away ’cause I slept with your ex?
Carly: You know, the way you keep bringing up your one-night stand with Sonny? Makes you sound like a stalker.
Carly: Correct me if I’m wrong, but you and sonny had a one-night stand. Which shows incredible bad taste on sonny’s part. But I think he made up for it by ducking you every chance.
Claudia: Are you sure about that, Carly?
Carly: You are a woman looking for a restraining order. You can leave now, or I’d be more than happy to throw you out myself.
Claudia: You know Kate Howard can’t hold on to a man like Sonny. But I can. And that scares the hell out of you. Good instincts, Carly. You should be scared. Because no matter how hard he tries, he’s not going to ever be able to stay away from me.
