Sarah’s last day was Thursday.
Per Facebook:
Last day as Claudia Zacchara – such a pretty name – I’ve always thought so. Hope you have a good one – wish me luck – I’ll need it! xxoo’s SJon
Onto The Bold & the Beautiful…
Ps., I updated the gallery yesterday.
Yea. Everyone should know by now. Anyway, it’s a good thing.
And now the Angels can sing.
She’s going to The Bold and the Beautiful. Not a great show, but it’s work. According to her Twitter, there’s a movie coming up as well, which is better.
Either way, she’ll be great.
I’ve added some scans to the gallery, and I promise when she’s on B&B I’ll update more. I do have all of her V.R. Troopers stuff saved, I just haven’t updated with them yet.
Oh, and how cool. Sarah’s show moves got a mention in the LA Times:
Sarah Brown will be checking out of ABC’s “General Hospital” and into CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and she won’t get a moment’s rest in between.
The actress’ last appearance on the ABC daytime drama as Claudia Zacchara, the sexy daughter of a mobster, is set for Nov. 5. The next day she’s to be introduced as good-hearted newcomer Sandy Sommers on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Sarah did a new interview with Matt Mitovich at TV Guide.
TVGuide.com: Sarah Brown is never one to take her career moves lightly. What was important to you in deciding on another year with General Hospital?
Sarah Brown: Re-signing for me this time around was dependent on several major things — What’s happening in the economy? Who would be writing the show this year and what kind of story did they have in mind for me? I like having a steady job. It’s nice for a change, and that was a big part of the reason I decided to stick around. I love the people I’m working with and it is, after all, a great job for a single mom. I work hard, but I work locally and usually have much of my day free.
Sarah is staying another year. She did announce it on her Facebook.
Admittedly, I was remiss in posting because I hate General Hospital with a passion.
But, I’m taking the high road and letting those who aren’t in the know, know.
She signed on for another year. And hopefully, she got the outs that she wanted. Further, I hope this actor strike/contract thing gets resolved soon so that we can see her elsewhere, and she won’t have to sign on for yet another year.
This show is just torture… for me at least, but it’s Sarah so I’m dealing.
